Antique 19th century miniature portrait painting on ivory depicting the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal for whom the Taj Mahal was built.  Super miniature painting takes months to complete.  Exquisite, fine details.  Framed in brass under glass with velvet backing.  Measures about 2.125" x 2.75".  Unsigned.
