Vintage Hopi pueblo pottery wedding bowl by a descendant of Nampeyo of Hano through her great granddaughter Nyla Sahmie Nampeyo. Christopher is the son of Nyla. Hand-coiled, handpainted and pit fired. Measures about 9.5" x 5" with a 1" opening at the top. One side has an air bubble mark from the firing process-this is not damage. Signed "C Collateta" on bottom. In excellent used condition, no chips or restoration. Signs of wear commensurate with age. Includes certificate of appraisal ($600.00).
