Circa 1960 Hopi pottery bowl. Measures about 6" x 11" diameter with a 5.75" opening at the top. Hand-coiled, hand painted, pit fired and polished inside and out. Signed on the bottom "J. Setalla" personally verified by Dee and Gwen Setalla 12/23/2020 to be Josephine Setalla, their grandmother. It is very rare to find Josephine's pieces. She is a descendant of Paqua Naha the first Frog Woman. In very good estate condition, no chips or cracks or restoration. Signs of shelf wear and pigment fading and loss. Made around 1960s.
