First Mesa Hopi pottery ladle with hand-carved LongHair Kachina handle. Hand-coiled, hand-painted and pit fired. Measures about 12" x 3.75" diameter bowl. Signed "Sahmie" which cam be the hallmark of anyone of the Sahmie family. In excellent used condition, no chips or cracks or restoration. Signs of wear commensurate with age. Includes certificate of appraisal ($500.00).
