Western Reservation Navajo rug in the Double Weave two sided pattern. This is very hard to execute and very rare! Measures about 56" x 29" with a warp count of 7 per inch and a weft count of 22 per inch. Hand-woven on a Navajo vertical loom with hand spun wool and aniline dye. Weaver is Mary Franklin. In excellent used condition, no stains or missing stitches or restoration. Includes certificate of appraisal ($2,400.00).
