Pueblo San Ildefonso lidded, micaceous pottery vessel. Signed on lid and base, dated 1988. Approx. measurement: 6"x 4.875" diameter x 2" opening. Hand-coiled, hand polished, hand painted, pit fired. Dora learned pottery from her mother-in-law Rose Gonzales. Dora has won awards for her work at the Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Indian Fair. No chips or crack, no restoration noted. Signs of minimal expected shelf wear present. Excellent buy! Certificate of appraisal included ($2,250.00).
