Early 1900s basket box with lid from the Lower Thompson Indians of British Columbia. measures about 11.5" x 13" x 21.5". Made of cedar strips with corn husk imbricated with red cherry bark and black cherry bark. In good condition with missing stitches and some of the imbrication, no restoration. Signs of wear commensurate with age. Certificate of appraisal included ($1,150.00).
