Two-volume hardcover books on "The Private Life of Marie Antoinette" published in 1884 by Bentley and Son. Covered in full tan polished calf leather with marbleized front and end papers. Wear present due to age with one front cover loose and tiny corner piece on the cover seems to have been torn. This pair is the 2nd revised edition. Inside the pages are intact without pen markings or dog ears. Illustrations from engravings are found. The spines are still intact.
