Western Reservation Navajo rug in the Butterfly pattern. Measures about 40.5" x 30" with a warp count of 9 per inch and a weft count of 40 per inch. Handwoven on a Navajo vertical loom with hand spun wool and aniline dyes. Weaver unknown. In excellent used condition, no stains or missing stitches or restoration. Signs of wear commensurate with age. Includes certificate of appraisal ($1,650.00).
