Circa 1990s Navajo Klagetoh rug. Measures about 55" x 30" with a warp count of 10 per inch and a weft count of 64 per inch. Hand-woven on typical Navajo vertical loom with commercial wool and dyed with aniline dyes. The previous owner worked as a public health nurse in the reservation and was able to buy directly from the weavers. This is excellent in quality with tight weave, intact edges, no stains, no restoration. Certificate of appraisal included ($2,100.00).
